Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AtoZclips ("AtoZclips", "we", "us"), a business operated by a sole trader in Australia (ABN 30 697 046 367). By creating an account or using AtoZclips, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. What AtoZclips does

AtoZclips turns long videos into short vertical clips. You upload a video, and we transcribe it, use AI to pick the moments most likely to do well, and export 9:16 clips with captions, hook titles and, depending on your plan, effects such as music, sound effects, emoji, zooms, a brand kit and translated captions.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use AtoZclips.
• Give us a real email address and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account. Don't share accounts or create extra accounts to get more free samples.

3. The free sample and paid plans

• Every new account gets one free sample: one video up to 10 minutes long, which makes one clip with an AtoZclips watermark. No card is needed.
• Paid plans (Starter, Creator and Studio) are monthly subscriptions. What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page.
• Each plan includes a number of source minutes per billing period. Source minutes are the length of the videos you upload, not the length of the clips you get back. Unused minutes don't carry over.
• Choosing a different hook title for a clip you've already made (on Studio) doesn't use extra minutes.

4. Payment

• Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which sends your receipts and invoices. We never see or store your full card details.
• Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• If we change our prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you want.

5. Changing plans and cancelling

• You can change plans, update your card or cancel at any time using Manage subscription at the top of the site. You don't need to email or call us.
• When you cancel, your plan and its features keep working until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan and you won't be charged again.

6. Refunds

• We don't give refunds for source minutes you've already used.
• You can cancel at any time. You won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
• If something goes wrong on our side, like a duplicate charge or clips that came out broken, email support@atozclips.com and we'll put it right. A video that fails to process doesn't use any of your minutes.
• Separately, Stripe's checkout service (Link), which sells our plans, may in some cases refund a payment within 60 days under Stripe's own terms. That sits alongside our rule of no refunds for minutes you've used.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other consumer rights you have where you live.

7. Your content

• You own your content. Your uploaded videos and the clips we make from them belong to you (or to whoever you got permission from).
• You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to run AtoZclips for you: for example to transcribe it, find moments, write titles, translate captions and render clips.
• We don't use your videos or clips to train AI models, and we don't sell them.
• We delete files automatically. Uploaded videos are deleted as soon as your clips are made (or processing fails). Finished clips are deleted 2 days after they're made, so download the ones you want to keep. Transcripts are kept for up to 7 days so uploading the same video again is faster. Your brand kit is kept until you remove it or close your account.

8. What you can't do

Only upload videos you own or have permission to use. Don't use AtoZclips to:

• upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• upload anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses, threatens or promotes hate or violence against people;
• share someone's private information without their permission;
• get around plan limits, use several free accounts, or overload, attack, copy or reverse-engineer the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. If you believe content on AtoZclips infringes your rights, contact us at support@atozclips.com.

9. AI features

AtoZclips uses AI to transcribe speech, pick moments, score clips, write hook titles and translate captions. AI can make mistakes: transcripts or translations may be wrong, and titles may not fit your style. Please watch your clips before posting them. Virality scores are estimates, not promises. We can't guarantee views, followers or results on any platform.

10. Closing your account

• You can stop using AtoZclips at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email support@atozclips.com from the email address on your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we close your account without a good reason, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

11. The service "as is"

We work hard to keep AtoZclips running well, but we provide it "as is". It may sometimes be unavailable, slow or have bugs, and we may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove a major feature from a paid plan, we'll let you know in advance.

12. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits, lost views or lost opportunities), and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud or for death or injury caused by negligence, or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you by email or on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using AtoZclips after that, the new terms apply.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of New South Wales. If you live elsewhere, you still keep any consumer rights your local law gives you.
